Every day, a large number of people rely on the various support and advice services offered by the Diakonie. With your donation, you can support the work of the Diakonisches Werk Heidelberg (the social welfare organisation of the Protestant church in Heidelberg). By thus getting involved, you make someone happy and give them new hope.
If you want to directly support a specific area of work or project of the Diakonisches Werk Heidelberg, please say so on your transfer form. We will then use your donation only for the purpose you specified.
If you wish, we can issue a donation confirmation. Under German tax law, your donation is considered a donation for charity and non-profit purposes and therefore tax-deductible.

Bank transfer by keyword
Ask your guests in your invitation letter to state a keyword on their donation. To avoid any confusion, please make sure to let us know your keyword before sending out invitations.
Set up a donation box or envelopes and transfer the total sum of donations after the event. Please make sure to let us know which area of work or project you would like to support with your donation. Please contact us!
Donation confirmation: For donations of € 201 or more, the donor will be sent a donation confirmation and a letter of thanks. While we are, of course, grateful for any kind of donation, we hope you will understand that for reasons of cost-efficiency, we do not send out confirmations for smaller amounts. Please note that under German tax law, donations of up to € 200 can be claimed as tax-reductible expenses with just a bank statement.
Charity gift initiatives: Please contact us before starting your charity gift initiative—we will be happy to assist you. If you wish, we will inform you about the final amount collected. For reasons of data privacy, however, we cannot disclose any names or individual amounts. Thank you for your understanding!
